Our Philosophy

Soul
Embodiment
SolEmbodica endeavours to hold a holistic framework to therapy, focusing on the body-mind-soul connection. The name SolEmbodica was created and led with the intention of inviting the soul aspect of us into the therapy space, complimented by living in embodied coherence. By soul, this means what is at the core of you - your values, what lights you up, who you are. Embodiment is the act of living this truth with intention, to connect and attune to your body.
/Our Approach/
At SolEmbodica, we believe healing is more than the absence of symptoms, it’s the journey toward wholeness.

Our work integrates evidence-based psychology with an embodied, intuitive practice to create a space where science and soul meet.

Here, we believe you are the expert in your experiences. Healing becomes the awareness of your inherent wisdom, strengths, and core sense of self that knows what you need to heal.

What if healing was less about recounting your pain and more about coming home to the truth of your being?

Meet Donna

Donna Gosatti is an intuitive, holistic Clinical Psychologist and the founder of SolEmbodica living in Perth, Western Australia.

After the  initiation of her own spiritual journey following the depths of grief, Donna has a special interest in integrating one's spiritual beliefs into practice. In particular, she aims to create a therapeutic space of warmth and curiosity to navigate one's growth, transformation, and self actualisation

Her personal journey and mainstream clinical work experiences revealed the missing link between Western clinical psychology and the Eastern paradigm of healing that transcends the mind and symptom resolution alone.

The Eastern focus is on preventative healing, knowing oneself as the core of health and vitality. This gap created the initiation of SolEmbodica, an evidenced based psychology practice that integrates the body-mind-soul connection.

Collaborations

"Your wellbeing is multi-faceted—and sometimes, the best outcomes happen when care works together.”

We value collaboration with GPs, psychiatrists, allied health professionals, and other practitioners who play an important role in your overall health. By working as part of your care team, we can provide you with the most holistic support possible, ensuring every part of your wellbeing is considered.

/YOU MAY ASK/
/01
What is holistic psychology?
Holistic psychology is an approach that views a person as a whole being mind, body, and soul. At SolEmbodica, we integrate evidence-based psychological modalities with intuitive, embodied practices. Instead of focusing only on symptoms, we explore the deeper roots of your experiences, helping you move toward lasting emotional freedom and resilience.
/02
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is a warm, grounded space to share your story at your own pace. We’ll begin by exploring what has brought you here, your goals for therapy, and any immediate support you need. It typically takes 1-2 initial sessions to finalise our intake assessment. Together from here, we'll start to create a tailored plan for your healing journey.'

/03
Do I need a referral to see a psychologist at SolEmbodica?
You're welcome to book directly with us through a self-referral. However, if you are an Australian citizen, you may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan through your treating doctor/GP.  At present, you can access 10 sessions every calendar year. You're required to pay the fee upfront, and receive the medicare claim back to your account when it has been processed. You may also be eligible for claims directly through your private health insurance. SolEmbodica does not have HICAPS facility at their practice.
/04
How much does a session cost?
Session fees are $240 and are 50minutes in length. With a Mental Health Care Plan, you'll receive a rebate of $141.85 per session for up to 10 sessions annually. You may also be eligible to claim with your private health insurance policy. However, this cannot be used in conjunction with a Mental Health Care Plan. If you don't have a referral, you are very welcome to book privately.
/05
How do online Telehealth sessions work?
Sessions are held online which gives people around Australia opportunity to access therapy from anywhere. After you have made a booking, we will send a link to your email which will give you access to your Telehealth session at the time of your appointment. Research shows that sessions online are as effective as in person therapy for many mental health concerns.
/06
How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on your goals. Some clients come for short-term support during a life transition, while others choose longer-term therapy to explore deeper self-discovery. We’ll discuss your needs together and create a rhythm that feels supportive and sustainable for you.
/07
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. As a registered Clinical Psychologist, Donna adheres to strict ethical and legal guidelines around confidentiality. Everything you share remains private, except in very specific circumstances where safety is at risk.
